About Us

My name is Mai Mahmoud Amer, an architect and furniture designer, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University, in Upper Egypt.

Studying in Upper Egypt brought me close to its breathtaking nature, teaching me respect for the environment and a deep understanding of the value of materials found in the land itself.

Stone has always been a fundamental element in the architecture of Upper Egypt — not as decoration, but as structure, endurance, and design logic. This understanding became the foundation of my architectural and design practice.

After several years working with contemporary systems using modern materials, I felt the need to return to the essence of natural, lasting materials.

My work focuses on furniture as an architectural extension of space — objects that are closest to the hand, the eye, and everyday rituals. I use stone, natural wood, and marble sourced from Egypt — the same materials that built the pyramids and ancient temples, still standing today as symbols of resilience and greatness.

Each piece is designed to highlight the natural qualities of its material while maintaining clarity of form, proportion, and function. The collections are produced in limited quantities, meant to age gracefully, carrying traces of life and use. My designs resist trends, instead offering permanence, tactility, and a quiet, grounded presence in any space.

Through my work, I aim to create furniture that is simple yet powerful — pieces that bring balance, calm, and a meaningful connection between material, space, and daily life.
